This is an important role in the team to carry out portable appliance testing at our portfolio of clients taking pride in working to a high standard for each customer. You will work remotely, mostly on your own but, from time to time, on larger jobs you will work as part of a team. You will come to the Head Office for company training/meetings and restocking where needed. As such this is a largely autonomous role where you will be responsible for yourself day to day. Your customerswill be booked in by our office staff and they will create your schedules which you have access to.

This role would be ideal for someone who likes to operate without the need for constant supervision or oversight.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Drive to and from customers premises using your company vehicle on daily basis.
- Carry out portable appliance testing at various pre-booked sites.
- Communicate any problems/issues that arise with both the office and the customer in a professional way.
- Send job reports through to the support team on a daily basis and keep excellent administrative records.
- Manage yourself on a daily basis to perform at a high level consistently.
- Keep your work vehicle in serviceable condition, clean and organised and be courteous to other road users.

**Essential skills**
- You will hold a full UK Driving License.
- Have superior customer service skills

- Be able to prioritise workloads
- Be a team player where required on large jobs
- Be pro-active and self-motivated

City & Guilds PAT Certificate 2377 or experience of PAT Testing is an advantage, but full training is provided in house for those that don’t have any previous experience.

**Package**
- Starting pay dependent on experience/qualifications £21,840-£23,920 per annum (this includes a performance bonus that will be available to a new starter after the probation period has ended)
- Holiday pay (20 days + national bank holidays + up 5 additional holiday days added per annum based on performance)
