Applications are invited from individuals currently holding a UK General Dental Council license to practise for a position in our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics Surgery department

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery treats all aspects of patients within this specialty and this post is an integral part of this. A population of approximately 500,000 is covered by the service leading to a varied and busy department workload. The specialty works closely with the adjacent departments of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Dermatology and Ophthalmology and shares the department with an active Orthodontic Unit.

Specific Duties
- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery cases.
- To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME/CPD).
- To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
- To attend meetings as appropriate.
- Fulfill duties of weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities (where applicable).
