Assistant Buyer

Ready to be a vital part of our client's dynamic and expanding business? We're on the lookout for a talented Assistant Buyer to join their procurement department and play a crucial role in driving the success of their live projects.

Your Role:
As an Assistant Buyer, you'll collaborate closely with the Senior Construction Buyer to ensure the seamless procurement of materials for construction projects. Your primary focus will be on timely material supply, aligning with project budgets, and meeting specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Place Purchase Orders with supply chain in the UK & ROI.
- Handle technical queries and communicate effectively.
- Review and track invoices continuously.
- Obtain and manage quotations from suppliers.
- Identify potential suppliers and new product ranges.
- Maintain organized records and schedules.
- Conduct interim assessments of supply chain performance.
- Monitor and report delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with sites, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Assist in capturing required Product Data for project completion.

- Methodical with excellent organizational skills.

- Excellent attention to detail, especially in written skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
