Logistics Co-ordinator

**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics coordinator to join our market leading client within their logistics team.**

This is an important administrative role which requires strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail, excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload.

You will coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics movements for the UK site; working in unison with Sales, Production and Purchasing to plan logistics movements, you will also need to work well under pressure to manage and resolve unplanned events. Logistics experience is preferred but not a necessity as full training will be provided.

You will arrange all inbound deliveries through transport agents and provide required paperwork and bookings, organise despatch of finished goods and produce accurate export paperwork where required.

You will also arrange a proportion of other despatches via courier or alternative transport methods whilst coordinating between the Yard team and other departments, maintain the transport plan and ensure accurate booking information is available for all teams.

The role is working Monday to Friday 0730 - 1545 with an earlier finish on a Friday. An excellent benefits package is on offer including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Due to the rural location of the client, own transport is essential for the role.
