We are looking for motivated Teaching Assistants to actively work at a wonderful school in Leeds (LS14) area with KS4 students to help them with their learning and engage them with activities.

We want someone who can help students in group tasks while adopting techniques to improve young people's mental health and involve them in stepping beyond of their comfort zones. By assisting children in groups or one-on-one with classroom tasks, you will be assisting teachers in achieving their goals in the classroom.

**Requirements**:

- A relevant Level 3 TA qualification (preferable).
- Experience working with children with special learning needs.
- An Enhanced Child DBS. (which we can also help with if already not held)
- Behaviour management skills and classroom management skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, assisting them with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement personalised learning plans for students with diverse needs.
- Adapt and modify teaching materials and strategies to meet the individual requirements and learning styles of students with SEN.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the participation and engagement of all students.
- Assist with the management of behaviour and provide positive reinforcement and guidance to encourage student motivation and engagement.
- Support students during transitions between activities, classes, or school settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of special education.
