**Oral Surgery Dental nurse/administrator in Northampton dual site Practice**

**Monday-Friday**

**Full Time 40 hours per week.**

**Qualified Dental Nurse skills and experience required for this role**:

- GDC Registered
- Preferred SOE/R4 experience
- Ensure CQC requirements are met
- Update patient records
- Set up decontamination of instruments
- Provide clinical chair-side support to Oral Surgeons
- Oral surgery skills desirable
- Undertake some reception duties
- Sedation qualification desirable no essential
- Radiography desirable not essential
- Dealing with anxious patient’s

**Administrator role and responsibilities**
- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
- Processing incoming referrals
- Liaising with referring practices and dentists
- Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
- Updating spreadsheets and invoices
- Audits

**Your skills and experience**
- Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast paced environment
- Previous administration or reception experience
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
- Efficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Preferred R4 experience
- Strong communication and organisation skills
