Process Worker

Elliott Absorbents Products is a Manufacturer of Food use pads in the Littleborough area of Rochdale.

We are looking for various roles all based around process working.

We have an opening for full time Machine operator/packer: £11:00 per hour rising to £11.53 after successful training and completion of a 13 week probationary period.

We have an opening for a Full time Machine operator/packer/Hygiene. This role would involve both machine operation and packing, but would also see you spend a few hours per day conducting cleaning duties in the offices and on the shop floor: £11.00 per hour rising to £11.53 after successful training and completion of a 13 week probationary period.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure product quality and safety
- Perform quality checks and inspections on finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Assist with packaging and labeling of products
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot production equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.63 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
