**Criminal Clerk - Leeds - £25k - £28k - per annum depending on experience**

Our client is an extremely well established and successful legal firm based in Leeds; due to their continued success they are currently expanding their team and recruiting for an experienced Criminal Clerk

They are looking for someone who has the potential to assist with practice management and who has ambition and dedication along with fantastic client-care skills and who can build long
- lasting relationships with Solicitors.

**Main responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Maintain contact with solicitors to discuss and develop an understanding of their requirements.
- Responsible for scrutinising Court lists and requesting that cases are moved and listed for Counsel and Solicitors’ availability.
- Assist the Senior Criminal Clerk in maintaining the criminal diaries.
- Liaise with Counsel where necessary regarding their short and long-term diary commitments.
- Responsible for booking conferences and ensuring that they are booked at convenient times for Counsel

**All applicants should possess the following skills / experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent face to face communication and interpersonal skills
- A mature telephone manner and strong written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise work load and plan ahead accordingly
