Maintenance Fitter

**JOB TITLE: Maintenance Fitter**
**LOCATION: Blyth, Northumberland**

**Purpose of the Role**:
TEXO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance fitter to join the maintenance team of one of our external clients based in Blyth, Northumberland on a permanent basis.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- This is predominantly a day shift position; however, you will be required to work shifts and weekends when necessary.
- Overtime will also be required to cover the needs of the business.
- Due to the nature of the business, you will need to be flexible with a can do attitude.
- Previous experience of working with these types of equipment would be an advantage.

**Essential Skills / Qualifications**:

- This client has an array of cargo handling equipment that includes FLT, Cranes & Heavy Plant; experience of working with these types of equipment both mechanically and electrically would be an advantage.
- This client is located across four sites, so a full driving license is essential.
- Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulic NVQ / HNC
- Experience, installing, servicing and repairing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems and equipment advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blyth, Northumberland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (required)
- installing, servicing & repairing electrical Systems: 1 year (required)
- installing, servicing and repairing mechanical systems: 1 year (required)
- installing, servicing and repairing hydraulic systems: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulic NVQ / HNC (required)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
