Due to an internalpromotion the business seeks to recruit an experienced Finance Manager, a pivotal role that would be well suited to a highly commercial accountant that will contribute to the continued growth of the company. The role is offered on a full time, permanent basisto be based at the company’s headquarters in Falmouth.

Working closely with a highly experienced Finance Director and manging a small team of transactional focussed colleagues, this will be broad ranging and rewarding role with the following core responsibilities:

- Oversee and mentor a small finance functional, ensuring that they are able to further their own careers through continued technical development
- Implement and develop a range of system and process improvements to suit a rapidly growing business including
- Statutory financial reporting with compliance to regulatory bodies
- Production of highly quality management accounts with commentary
- Cashflow analysis, forecasting and budget models
- Play a key role in a major ERP upgrade (2023)
- VAT and statutory tax preparations
- Authorising supplier payment runs
- Accruals and prepayments
- P&L Forecasting
- Production of detailed material costing information and variance analysis
- Work closely with non-financial department managers to influence and educate on cost margins
- Act as a key point of contact to a range of external stakeholders and major customers
- Manage year-end audit procedures
