**Overview**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork and general construction. This is a full-time position based in the United Kingdom.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out excavation and groundwork tasks according to project specifications
- Install drainage systems, including utilities and manholes
- Lay foundations and concrete slabs**:

- Operate plant machinery such as diggers, dumpers, and compactors is a bonus**:

- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Proficient in operating machinery relevant to groundworks
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
