**Salary Range, Kite pay Band 2 point 1: £22,200 - £27,918 FTE**

**(£17,087 - £21,488 actual salary pro rata)**

**Full time / Permanent / 39 weeks per year including INSET days**

**We are looking to appoint an ELSA who**:

- Is highly motivated to support individuals or groups of children who are experiencing difficulties with emotional literacy or other aspects of school or home life
- Has patience and the ability to help vulnerable children understand the world around them and progress towards their potential.
- will encourage a learning environment throughout the school which allows children to acquire and develop emotional literacy skills.
- Is a team player with a can-do attitude, emotional resilience and a good sense of humour.

**You should have**:

- Good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent)
- A high degree of initiative and sound judgement when working with children and young people
- Experience of helping children to achieve their full social and academic potential

Lakeside is a wonderful two form entry school who had the privilege of moving to a brand new building in September 2023. The school is located in the village of Deepcut where a new housing estate is currently being built. We have an outstanding team of people at Lakeside who all work collaboratively to ensure each child is able to achieve their very best.

Lakeside is part of The Kite Academy Trust, which is a group of 10 primary academies, a mix of infant and through-primary, one and two-form entry. We have four nurseries and a specialist unit for children with Developmental Language Delay. We are closely connected in the Farnham/Frimley/ Camberley/Farnborough area, with a Central Office at Holly Lodge Primary Academy in Ash Vale.
