**Workshop Assistant**

You will ideally have experience of working on your own initiative and following clear instructions. This is a physical job requiring the use of hand held power tools; this is a permanent role and we are prepared to train the right applicant for this role, with the opportunity to progress on to operating manual lathes.

**Duties**:
Clean offices, workshop, toilets etc.

General duties around the site

Cleaning of machines in workshop

Shredding of cardboard for packaging

Package goods for dispatch

Ensure site is kept tidy

Driving between sites

Deliveries/collections

Ensure racking is correctly stacked and tidy

Assist other staff with general maintenance

Work to tight deadlines

Move equipment and materials

Cleaning and undertake general housekeeping as required

Work as an integral part of the Production team

Other duties as required

There may the possibility of overtime this is determined by the needs of the company

Due to rural location own reliable transport is essential.

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- UK Driver's Licence (required)
