Gardening Assistant

We are requiring a gardeners assistant / labourer working in private residential gardens.
The applicant must be hard working, polite, personable, keen to help and learn, honest and punctual. However above all of that the applicant must be **reliable** The applicant should be able to assist and work along side the lead gardener within a small team of 2/3.
Pay will depend on age and experience.
You must be able to get to the Orpington area for pick up in the morning.
This role is physically demanding so it is essential that the applicant is physically fit.
The work shall consist of grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding and other general gardening work.
The working hours are Monday - Friday with Saturdays offered if work is available. The working day will occasionally vary in length due to the nature of the work. Paid overtime.
Some basic gardening experience is desirable but not essential.
Some experience of using rear roller lawn mowers is desirable but not essential.
Basic training will be offered.
Experienced gardeners please also enquire.
20 days paid holiday, plus bank holidays.
**This position is for an immediate start.**
**Salary**: £16,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
