Team Leader | Edinburgh City Centre

Monday to Friday 9-5 | Potential for Hybrid Working

Pay rate - up to £35,000 per annum

7 month Fixed Term Contract

Search Consultancy are currently working with one of the UK's leading financial services company's to recruit a Team Leader. This role is a 7 month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension.

The purpose of this role will be to manage a fast paced team within the company, ensuring adherence to company frameworks and compliance regulations while keeping to a high standard of customer service and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties involved in this role will include:

- Provide confident and supportive management to the team, appropriately delegating work and communicating expectations
- Support the line manager in project management and delivery, taking on any line management requirements in their absence
- Ensure that all company frameworks, procedures and processes are accurately followed
- Ensure the team are compliant with all Regulatory Codes of Conduct
- Carry out all audit requirements in line with given deadlines
- Encourage and carry out continuous training, development and improvement both personally and within the team
- Resolve any issues promptly and escalate when appropriate

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

- Must have proven experience in a management position
- Confidence managing a team of more than 10 people
- NVQ Level 3 in Team Leader and IOC qualification are desirable
- Knowledge of the Financial Sector is desirable
