Head Barista

Established in 2011 and located in the South West of England, Mokoko has become well-known as a high quality independent coffee and bakery establishment.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Head Barista in Portishead. The Head Barista reports to the Store Manager and ultimately leads the coffee operation on the counter, setting the standards and training other baristas.

The Head Barista requires proven knowledge in the following areas;
*recipes & extraction

*characteristics of a balanced shot, acidity, sweetness, extraction

*milk texturing/latte art

*managing a smooth work flow.

*knowledge of drinks menu's

*cleanliness of equipment in including dialling in and cleaning of grinders etc.

*training of baristas

We typically open between the hours of 8am and 5pm across the week and are happy to consider any specific availability requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
