Midday Supervisory Assistant

We are looking to appoint a new member of staff to join our lunchtime team, to support the lunchtime food service and ensure the safety and security of pupils whilst promoting learning through play over the lunchtime break. We are seeking someone who is approachable, adaptable and willing and able to engage with children in a professional manner.

Hours - 8 hours 5 mins a week
Monday - Friday - Approx 11.50 am - 1.32 pm (lunchtime period) x 5 days - Term time only
Salary Scale G2 03 - 06 (£18,516 - £18,887 pro rata) Starting salary £3,443 per annum
Required to start - Tuesday 4th January 2023

- reliable, efficient and well organised
- able to empathise with the needs of young children
- able to work as part of a team and be willing to learn

**_Duties will include_**:

- Supervising children during the lunchtime period, in the playground, classrooms, cloakrooms, toilets etc and escorting children between areas where necessary
- Preparing rooms for dining, including setting out tables as appropriate
- Distributing meals and serving water where required
- Clearing tables, collecting rubbish, washing and stacking tables, chairs, water jugs and cleaning the dining area as required

A First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Certificates will be required, training will be provided.
