Drivers Mate

Responsibilities:

- Assist the driver in navigating to various delivery locations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensure that all items are properly secured and protected during transportation
- Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the driver
- Help with paperwork and record-keeping as required
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices

**Role**: Drivers Mate

**Hours**: 4 days per week, 10-hour shift including one weekend per month. Typically, a shift is around 11.5hours so therefore will be paid overtime.

**Pay**:£10.42 per hour

**Duties**:

- 24/30 drops
- 11.5hour days average
- **Delivering heavy furniture to the doorstep
- including sofas, tables, garden furniture.**:

- Being the face of the company

Expected hours: 40 - 46 per week
