Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages or goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using manual methods or equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any incidents or discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate with dispatch or customers regarding any delays, issues, or changes to delivery schedules

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Note: This position may involve driving larger vehicles such as tractor-trailers, depending on the specific job requirements.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-30 per week

**Salary**: From £7.00 per hour
