**About the Role**:
At Aspens We work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities across residential care homes, supported living homes, day services and our fantastic outreach programme.

Our Cafe plays a huge role in the fundraising and generation income that helps allow Aspens to support people on a daily basis.

As Lead Cafe Assistant you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of our Bluebell Cafe

Your role will include preparing and serving food and drinks -acting as Barista. You will be responsible for cash handling and till management. Food preparation and observing stock levels. You will be responsible for opening and closing the cafe.

You will work alongside a team of supportive staff to ensure the smooth running of the cafe on a daily basis.

In your managers absence you will need to lead the team and support them in their roles.

**About You**:
If you are friendly, hard-working, dedicated and passionate about serving others we would LOVE to speak to you about this role or any other opportunity you might be interested in. Â You would need to have at least **1 year experience** working in a cafe or kitchen setting as a supervisor and have **completed your Level 2 in Food Hygiene**. You will be required to hold a clean UK driving licence.

**Knowledge of Autism and experience with supporting people with learning difficulties.**
