**Salary**: From £37,090+ depending on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Procuring materials and components by obtaining prices, agreeing T’s and C’s, through the placement of multiple purchase orders as and when required by the Management team, ensuring compliance with all Governance and Regulations
- Ensuring effective supplier relationship management maintaining strong, effective relationships with suppliers
- Supporting regular Supplier reviews and taking appropriate action to expedite delivery where required
- Managing debt and providing reporting for same, including regular meetings and collaborating with other departments, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Ensuring correct and current data is maintained in the ERP system
- Proactively monitoring and communicating supplier’s key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring schedule adherence and quality assurance performance

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- High level of computer literacy, including experience in use of full Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines together with experience of delivering against or improving KPIs/performance metrics
- Good commercial and business acumen - with the ability to make decisions based on data
- Excellent communication skills, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, managing and prioritising your workload with appropriate guidance but also the ability to work alongside and deliver within a team

Desirable:

- Previous experience working within a regulated environment such as aerospace, defence, engineering, automotive, or other manufacturing industry
- CIPS qualified or working towards, or other business related qualification
- Some experience of Infor LN or any other Source to Pay and/or Enterprise Resource Planning systems in a Procurement environment

We have a number of vacancies in our fast paced Procurement Team where, as a Procurement Professional, you will support your team in some or all of the Procure to Pay activities from obtaining prices, agreeing T’s and C’s, placing the Purchase Order through to managing the final deliverable and completing supplier invoice payment.

This role will challenge you to bring your own individual skills and creativity in order to inspire an effective procurement service and in turn, provide you with the opportunity to further your career within the function.
