**Position: CNC Machinists**

**Location: Blaenavon**

**Salary: £26,500 - 2 shift**

**£28,000 - 3 shifts**

Key Objectives:

- Prioritize Health & Safety: Work safely and responsibly, considering both personal and team safety.
- Undertake any pre-shift safety checks, e.g., Hoist Crane checks.
- Uphold workplace housekeeping standards, following 5s Duties.
- Strictly adhere to all Quality procedures and processes.
- Machine parts according to specified drawings.
- Utilize measurement tools such as Micrometers, Vernier, Wall Thickness Meter, Surface Roughness gauge.
- Handle Material Movements.
- Set up cell for subsequent tasks, ensuring readiness of materials, tools, drawings, and route packs.
- Inspect and replace tool tips as necessary.
- Continuously monitor dimensions during the machining process.
- Load and unload machine parts.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and coolant checks.
- Document cell production details and complete necessary bookings.
- Handle machine parts setting and job settings.
- Make required adjustments to offsets and tooling.
- Ensure first-off measurements are taken.

**Essential**:

- Proficiency in machining with accuracy up to +/- 0.05mm.
- Solid CNC Milling/Turning Experience.
- Familiarity with Fanuc CNC Controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

Desirable:

- Apprentice Training in Mechanical Manufacturing or its equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Prior experience with machining Forgings.
- Skills in Manual Milling/Turning.
- Overhead Crane Training and Certification.
- Abrasive Wheel Training.
- A forklift license (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent).
- Overhead crane/lifting certification.

**Salary**: £12.54-£14.92 per hour
