Our client is seeking a highly organised and personable Property Administrator to join their team in Ashburton. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to provide vital administrative support to the property department in a friendly working environment.

**Property Administrator Responsibilities**:

- Triage and prioritise inquiries, responding professionally or escalating to appropriate team members as needed
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the head of department, including inbox management, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate logs for property projects, health and safety inspections, and quinquennial inspections, compiling regular progress reports
- Assist with insurance queries, submissions, and administration for health and safety training courses
- Undertake general administrative tasks, including minute-taking, filing, scanning, and documentation management

**Property Administrator Requirements and Experience**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident telephone manner
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Accurate typing/data entry skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to identify and report emerging issues
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience in an office administration or support role is essential

**Desired Qualifications and Knowledge**:

- Experience in a professional helpdesk or customer service environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for file management and meetings
- Previous support role in a regional property, sales, or professional services organisation
- Knowledge of office management principles and property IT systems/databases
- Professional secretarial qualifications would be advantageous
- Basic understanding of property maintenance, facilities management, and related health and safety aspects
