We’re excited to be looking for an experienced and proactive individual who’d love to jump in and help play an integral role in the Safety and Security of Southampton Football Club. You’ll be working closely with the Event Safety Officer and be responsible for all aspects of CCTV and Controlling of staff on busy event days as well as the safety of all staff and visitors. You’ll be working with a fantastic team based at St Mary’s Stadium, home to Southampton Football Club.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working closely with the Event Safety Officer and be responsible for the control room and all aspects of CCTV and match day/event plans. This includes, but is not limited to, pre-event safety and set up, managing access to car parks and buildings, utilising the electronic access control system, and CCTV monitoring as well as being the radio controller for all staff, working to the Event Safety Officer.

**Responsibilities**:
- To operate and respond to all aspects of Control Room Operation including emergency response i.e. Fire and emergency alarm system.- To operate and monitor CCTV systems comprising over 50 cameras ensuring visual images are always to necessary standard, downloading recordings as required whilst ensuring compliance with data protection.- Manage the intercoms from the entrances to the site.- Manage the radio networks communicating with Security, Stewards and other essential event staff.- To maintain the key issue records and deal with the key issues to Staff.- To maintain records of all visitors and contractors to the Security Control Room.- Monitor the Fire Alarm systems and pass on via radio or telephone any information necessary for the safety and security of the Site.- Collaborate with the security team to implement and improve security protocols and procedures.- Provide support and assistance to other stadium staff as needed to ensure the smooth operation of match day events.- Report any failures or issues to the Safety & Security Manager.

Is this you?

You’ll have experience working in a security control room and currently hold a valid SIA Licence. You’ll be calm under pressure, have good customer service and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with a diverse range of people including visitors, contractors and employees. You’ll enjoy the buzz of being able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and be part of our match day/event action.

Essential experience:
- Previous work experience in event security- Experience of working in a customer facing team- Current valid SIA CCTV licence or proof of qualification- Good IT ability
