**Warehouse Lead Operative.**

Budget Paper Supplies are a small family run Business
- we are recruiting for a _**Lead Warehouse operative**_ on a Permanent basis to come and work with our friendly team based in Helpston. This is a full time permanent position.
- **This is a key role within the Business and the successful applicant will manage the Warehouse function on a**_ _**daily basis **_(currently there are no direct reports but there is temp labour during our Peak period June
- Sept), leading and covering all aspects of Warehouse tasks and contributing to our continued success. The role is busy and varied and will need you to take responsibility for the Warehouse to include: moving stock into locations and updating the warehouse plan accordingly, accurate picking and packing of products, goods in and unloading of vehicles, and movement of products to and from the Production area. Also using our Haulier websites to book collections.

We are seeking someone with a can do and flexible attitude, ability to self-manage and attention to detail, forklift licences _**a must for Counterbalance and either trained or be willing to train on Bendi trucks. Must be computer literate and have a standard of English both written and oral.**_

Previous experience of organising a busy Warehouse environment is required

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Controlling the Daily Warehouse requirements to meet Goods in/Goods out schedule, to include picking of orders, loading and unloading vehicles and completing required paperwork.
- Have a good understanding of Stock Management systems and be able to manage and update Excel spreadsheets with data.
- Be able to use haulier websites to book collections when required.
- Play a key part in the planning schedule of goods in/goods out of the Warehouse.
- Ensuring that all Health and Safety and Environmental requirements are followed.
- Ensuring that all Production requirements for raw material and finished products are completed in a timely manner and all associated paperwork is completed correctly and the specified time frame.
- Working in a safe manner with due consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of co-workers at all times.
- To be flexible across operations and undertake training to improve your skill set.
- _**This role is autonomous and being able to self manage, plan and organise your daily tasks is critical.**_
- There may be additional activities to perform from time to time in order to maximise the contribution to our Company goals and objectives.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm, transport essential due to our location, onsite parking, 22 days holiday + bank holidays.

Salary £12.50ph

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour
