We are looking for a Learning Designer to join our team.

Kaplan’s Learning Design and Development team create award-winning online learning resources for our professional qualifications and industry clients. We aim to open up education beyond the four walls of the classroom to provide high-quality, engaging learning experiences.

In this role, you will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create learning resources delivered via video, interaction and other mediums.

You’ll work closely with our development and creative teams to ensure the products we deliver give our students the best chance of success. At times the work can be fast paced; you will be delivering a high volume of content to a defined brief in a short space of time. We are a close, collaborative and supportive team. There are always opportunities to expand your skillset and to collaborate on side projects.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- You’ll have excellent written English, including grammar, and spelling and good verbal communication skills. Attention to detail is essential in the role.
- You’ll have experience of putting design methodologies and educational pedagogies into practice.
- You will have the ability to lead meetings with SMEs and work collaboratively with them to create the best possible content.
- You will take an organised approach to projects and will take ownership of content that comes past you.
- You will have the ability to work collaboratively across functions, levels and departments.
- You will be able to use Microsoft Office and particularly PowerPoint. A knowledge of authoring tools and/or video learning is desirable.
