Gi Group are looking to recruit an experienced upholsterer for our client based in Hoyland, Barnsley.
For this position you will need to have relevant experience in a similar role, and have a proactive attitude to work.
Working Hours/Shift Patterns:
Monday - Friday, 07:00-15:30
Rate of pay:
£10.13 per hour.
Duties include:

- Following sketches, patterns or blueprints to signpost cutting lines on fabrics using chalks, pencils
or paint.
- Measuring and cutting materials using cutting instruments.
- Stripping
- Cutting out the fabric to pattern
- Covering frames with padding and fabric using sewing machines, stitches, staples, tacks and glue.
Essential Skills Required:

- You must have a proactive mind set with desire to learn and improve.
- You will need to be able to work with accuracy and speed.
- You will need to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used.
- Have effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the
organisation.
- Work with integrity.
- Be aware of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
