Café Supervisor

Job Overview.

At Café Riva we are looking for a person who has a great work ethic with excellent people skills.
Full time position however we will be willing to consider 2x part time applicants.
Must be willing to work one weekend a month

**Duties**:

- Oversee daily operations of the café, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
- Ensure that the café is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Train and supervise café staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of current food safety regulations and ensure compliance in all aspects of café operations
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the café on selected shifts.
- willing to work in the kitchen 1-2 days per week (Training provided)
- Communicate well with the manager, with any relevant information from your shifts.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a café or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
