Are you an approachable professional with excellent communication and time-management skills? Do you have experience in stakeholder engagement and quality assurance processes within the academic environment? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a London university, for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to provide additional support to their team. This is a temporary role which will start immediately and will run until the end of February 2024. There is the option of a hybrid structure to this role, with a minimum of two days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) being spent on campus.

Leading into a busy time of year, your role is to manage and coordinate quality assurance processes within the faculty. You’ll provide additional support to the Quality Assurance team with three to four validation events coming up. Your duties will include the coordination of two periodic review panels, and to support the programme teams in preparation for reviews. Regularly engaging with students, academics, and stakeholders, you’ll write reports and prepare evidenced recommendations. You’ll manage student complaints, and provide advice and guidance to faculty members about quality assurance processes.

**Quality Assurance Specialist Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and lead the establishment of two periodic programme review panels.
- Assist programme teams in developing self-evaluation documents in preparation for reviews.
- Gather the necessary review evidence required for assessment.
- Provide governance support for faculty committees involved in quality assurance processes.
- Oversee the management of student complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide advice and guidance to faculty members regarding quality assurance processes.
- Undertake various administrative ad hoc duties as required.

**Quality Assurance Specialist Key Requirements**:

- Demonstrated background in quality assurance processes, including academic reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, report writing, and preparing evidenced recommendations.
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills, balancing competing work demands and effectively managing time.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £23.50 per hour
