Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge?

We are delighted to be working with a small growing business based near Cambridge,who can offer a real opportunity for someone to stamp their mark on the role/business and make a real difference.Working on a full time basis,(4 days/condensed hourswould also be considered) on a hybrid basis (1/2 days from home the remainder from the office)

Reporting to the owner of the business, you will be responsible for all financial activities including:

- Bookkeeping - processing supplier invoices, raising payments, preparing quarterly P&L reports, bank and statement reconciliations
- Producing Management Accounts - including actual income vs budget, revenue performance vs budget
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Produce payroll information to submit to external accountant
- KPI Analysis and reporting
- Preparing financial information for year end accounts to be signed off from external accountants
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly
- Adhoc duties to support the team

Applications are invited from individuals with the following skills and experience:

- Ideally formally qualified or working towards a formal qualification (QBE will be considered)
- A minimum of 3 years experience of working in a senior finance position in a similar small owner managed business
- IT Literate - Microsoft Excel and ideally experience of Xero
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage own time and deadlines

The client are able to offer hybrid working, at least 1 day from home, possibly 2, other benefits include, pension, healthcare, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

The client will be moving to a village on the Western side of Cambridge in February/March, so own transport is essential.
