An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Dyfed-Powys Police as an Identification Support within our Forensic Services based in Police Headquarters, Carmarthen.

This role is responsible for:

- comparing, searching and identifying crime scene fingerprints to first check level,
- processing fingerprint forms on the ‘IDENT 1’ computer systems,
- verifying fingerprints on manual and computerised systems to validate the identity of persons,
- performing quality control on fingerprints received at the Bureau and select the "Best Set" for inclusion in the computerised and manual systems.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £24,552.00-£26,232.00 per hour
