- SO5357-24-120We are looking for a part-time Learning Support Coordinator to join our Disability and Dyslexia Team.
Approximately 27% students at the University of Brighton have told us about a disability, and we have over 3500 students with active Learning Support Plans. This includes those with specific learning differences, physical and sensory impairments, mental health and autistic spectrum conditions, as well as other disabilities and long-term medical conditions.
Disabled students represent a large proportion of our university community and this is growing year on year. We are aiming to ‘level the playing field’ for our disabled student to enable them to reach their potential. We are a friendly welcoming team and there are lots of opportunities for staff development.
These are permanent positions for 0.6FTE, 22.5 hours or 3 days per week. However, we are also open to these hours being worked flexibly across 4/5 days.
There is also the opportunity for hybrid online working between the campus and home.
We expect interview to take place on 23rd or 24th April in person at the Moulsecoomb campus.
