**Job title**: Stone Fabricator

**Job summary**: As a stone fabricator, you will be responsible for polishing and finishing granite and quartz worktops using hand tools, driving a forklift, operating an overhead gantry crane, occasionally going out on site to assist with the fitting of the worktops, and sometimes doing deliveries.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Cut, shape, polish and install stone worktops according to customer specifications
- Operate hand tools such as grinders, polishers, saws and drills
- Drive a forklift and an overhead gantry crane to move materials
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Provide customer service and support when needed
- You will also be required to undertake such duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Company from time to time. The Company reserves the right to vary your duties and responsibilities at any time and from time to time according to the needs of the Company’s business.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Previous experience in stone fabrication or related field
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements
- Knowledge of different types of stone materials and their properties
- Skill in using hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Physical strength, stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

**Reporting structure**: You will report to the Stone Fabrication Manager.

**Salary range**: £20,000 - £25,000 per year depending on experience.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
