**About the role**

**Are you passionate about agriculture, animal care, and education? Myerscough College is seeking a dedicated and skilled Herdsperson to join our dynamic team and contribute to the vibrant learning environment on our campus.**

On our 750 acre mixed farm with 190 dairy cows, 200 beef cattle and 1000 ewes, you will demonstrate commercial farming to a range of learners. As part of a large team, you will be involved in a range of jobs across all the livestock enterprises and have the opportunity to develop your skills.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with both people, animals and machinery who isn’t afraid to get stuck in. Does this sound like you?

The Herdsperson will be required to assist with the day to day running of the college farms focusing on supporting the Dairy Lead and operations in the robotic dairy unit including tractor operations. The role requires a full UK driving licence.

£24,834 - £28,549 per annum, pro rata (salary will be around £32,217 - £37,037 based on an average 48-hour week). To include weekends when required.
