**In a nutshell**

As an Activity Planner, you will compile, clash and where appropriate, publish retail activity through our retail activity interface. You will share outputs and decisions with relevant stakeholders to agree next steps dependant on outcome of clashing exercise. This role provides a high level of service to both our internal and external customers.

**What you need to do**
- Represent retail through attendance at relevant planning meetings and champion the voice of retail to ensure our colleagues can deliver what is required for our customers.
- Liaise with the Governance and Procedures Coordinator to help identify suitable stores for activities based on store workload and characteristics.
- Liaising to ensure all activities are signed off by all relevant business areas before they are visible to stores
- Clash retail activity, analysing and suggesting alternative dates when there is a clash to help the business re-plan activities
- Maintain the retail activity interface ensuring that all store specific and corporate activity is accurate, timely and relevant to its audience.
- Through effective stakeholder engagement, make updates from information provided from all third parties which provide input into the retail activity interface, for example sampling and concessions.
- Maintain the week-by-week rolling two-year Retail Activity Plan highlighting maximum/minimum capacity.
- There will be a requirement for multi-skilling and support of the other C4 roles across the wider team e.g. weekend working, holiday cover
- Workings days are 5 out of 7 with occasional weekend working.

**What you need to know and show**
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of retail, preferably gained from a store management role
- Evidence of working within and across teams with good interpersonal skills
- PC skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Planning/Project Management experience desired but not essential
- Organisation and planning skills
- Ability to impact and influence at all levels
- Good analytical skills
- Communicating clearly to our stores and third parties
- Good interpersonal skills with a good degree of self-confidence and service level management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including grammatical accuracy
- Cross functional working
- Ability to work on own and within a team
- Confidentiality at the highest level
- Attention to detail
- Be able to cope with pressure whilst meeting tough deadlines and demonstrating the correct behaviours, without losing the attention to detail required
