An exciting opportunity have arisen within the Defence Deployed Operations organisation for ‘Flex’ Field Service Representatives to work in the Fast Jet, Training and Tanking & Transport environments.

This role will be Bristol based out of the Defence Operations Centre, but you will be expected to be deployed (often at short notice) to any of our Defence UK or International deployed locations (UK & International) for short assignments. These short assignments will range from individual tasks (taking several days), to establishing new FSR locations, or standing in for an existing FSR (for a maximum of 90 days).

Additionally, when not deployed in a Flex FSR capacity, the individual could be required to assist the Operations Centre Service Desk with Technical Query answering or undertake training in preparation for an upcoming assignment or to maintain regulatory Authorisation’s compliance.

The ability to travel and work in deployed locations both in the UK and overseas, either as a standalone Field Service Representative or as part of a Deployed Services multi-disciplinary team is a key requirement.

**What you’ll be doing**:
In this role you will resolve ML1, 2, & 3 Level Customer Issues in line with customer requirements and RCI principles. You will also:

- Proactively identify threats to fleet operability and to drive necessary mitigating actions to ensure Customer & Contract KPIs are met.
- Input engine events and data highlighting to the wider organisation engine related issues that are impacting fleet reliability and operability.
- Provide support to help maintain customer satisfaction/complaint targets and delivery, including proactive management of issues to resolution
- Management of “in service” customer relationships across various levels within the Customer, OEM and Supplier organisations
- Monitor and input fleet data and liaise with the customer community on short term fleet planning & availability to ensure that they have confidence in the level of service being provided and to manage Customer expectations.
- Help to identify future support capability and services opportunities.

- Qualified to at least HND level or having equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of aerospace Regulatory Requirements.
- A Customer focused attitude.
- Demonstrate Responsiveness / Flexibility / Agility
- Experience of aircraft propulsion system and maintenance at ML1 / ML2 is essential.
- Will have been trained within the propulsion trade or come from a relevant Engineering / Service Engineering discipline, or holds equivalent qualifications

This role is based at Bristol and may include limited travel, as per programme needs.
