**The Skylark Events Coordinator is integral in building long-lasting relationships with event organisers, party planners and wedding couples to ensure perfect delivery of their desired event.**

Key Responsibilities:

- Meeting event organisers, party planners and wedding couples to discuss their key requirements and details of their event
- Advising wedding parties of customs or etiquette
- Preparing quotations for the work
- Liaising with the Head Chef, Front of House Manager and external suppliers regarding requirements and timings
- Making sure event organisers, party planners and wedding couples are kept up to date with wedding venue progress
- Responding to event organiser, party planner and wedding couple enquiries on the run-up to the event
- Arranging menu tastings, meetings and rehearsals
- Ensuring that the payment of events are made within the required timescales.
- Researching new products, services and suppliers, through word of mouth, online or using social media such as Twitter
- To upsell party add-ons - such as photobooth, sweet cart and additional decorations
- Supporting the Events Manager with Business Development if required
- Be present at the venue on the day of the wedding or event to make sure that everything goes to plan
- Hold a pre-event briefing
- Lead the operational aspect of the day up until 6pm
- Ensure the wedding runs as close to plan as possible
- Work with the F&B Team Leader to ensure food goes out on time
- Handover to F&B Team Leader for evening reception

Core Requirements:

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organised
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Eager to develop within the Events Industry
- Flexibility towards working hours is essential
- Minimum 2 years experience as an events coordinator.

Contract type - Full time, permanent, Weekend availability
