Groundsperson

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist arborists and climbers in executing tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
- Perform ground-based tasks, including debris removal, brush chipping, and site cleanup.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of job sites, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly organized and secured.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the well-being of team members and clients.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide support during aerial rescue operations as needed, demonstrating proficiency in rescue techniques and equipment usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on job sites and at the company facility.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in tree care practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tree care or related field.
- Hold valid CS30, CS31, and CS38 tickets (Chainsaw maintenance and cross-cutting, Felling small trees, and Climbing and aerial rescue).
- Proficient in the safe operation of chainsaws and other tree care equipment.
- Strong understanding of industry safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Must have a valid driving license and mode of transport.

**Additional Information**:

- This is a self-employed position starting immediately.
- The position will involve working primarily in West London, Surrey, and surrounding boroughs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £100.00-£150.00 per day

Expected hours: 7 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road
