**Job Title: Parts Advisor**

**Company Overview**:
Our client is a leading Fleet & Plant Management Company based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, specializing in the maintenance of thousands of vehicles and items of plant equipment. They are currently seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join their team at the Dunstable stores, providing essential support to their team of Mobile Mechanics across the UK.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for:
1. Compiling and placing orders for required parts.

2. Supporting and maintaining effective communication with the mobile technicians.

3. Checking deliveries and ensuring accurate updates in our IT systems.

4. Conducting audit checks and efficiently managing inventory.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
1. Experience in dealing with parts for commercial vehicles, and ideally, plant equipment (training can be provided).

2. Excellent IT skills and proficiency in using multiple systems.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Previous experience in a busy parts environment.

5. Good working knowledge of MS Office.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Physical fitness, capable of heavy lifting.
- Ability to manage and organize parts needed for repairs to the company's plant equipment.
- Duties include raising PO numbers, handling GRNs, organizing and dispatching parts to sites.
- Working conditions: Stores located in a container at the bottom of the yard, uneven terrain, cold environment
- IT literacy is crucial for entering information into the system.

Full-time, Permanent
