We're looking for a quick-learning, enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-orientated Software professional to join the team.

**Role overview**:
As a Product Specialist, you will be part of our software product team and report to the Head of Product.

Your primary responsibility will be to become an expert in our product and handle queries from internal stakeholders. This includes identifying whether reported issues are bugs, expected behaviour, or functional limitations that need to be addressed. You will serve as the first point of contact for colleagues reporting issues and collaborate with the Product and Software Development teams to allocate and address the different problems.

Logging issues as bugs, documenting questions, and maintaining comprehensive product documentation for colleagues to reference will be important aspects of your role. You will ensure that appropriate communication flows to keep everyone informed when issues are resolved.

To provide accurate answers to colleagues' inquiries, you will need to develop a deep understanding of how our platform functions.

In addition, you will contribute to optimizing our testing efforts by identifying areas of risk and leverage. This includes testing new developments and implementing proactive testing methods to reduce errors/bugs in the Production environment of the M2030 platform.

When necessary, you will also assist in configuring clients' accounts and making data amendments. Helping to source the rest of the product team with qualitative information about customer friction points that require greater automation to inform future developments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the product thoroughly and translate this knowledge into a well-documented Internal Knowledge Hub that you will keep updated.
- Coordinate between internal teams, Product Managers, engineers, customer success, and operations, to ensure issues and bugs are taken care of by the appropriate teams.
- Provide detailed technical support for the customer success team by responding to queries and redirecting colleagues to the appropriate documentation when needed.
- Provide detailed testing support for the software development team
- Assist on the Set up of Key Client's accounts - Supply Chain Owners

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
Must have:

- One or more years of experience working closely with software development teams
- This could be as a developer, tester, product owner or product manager, or other related fields
- Experience with troubleshooting
- Great attention to detail
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of enthusiasm and curiosity
- Strong work ethic
- Service mindset - you enjoy helping others solve problems
- Interest in software development
- Interest in climate change

Nice to have:

- Deep industry knowledge of carbon/environmental management

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a good all-rounder, hands-on, a good communicator rigorous, and thorough.

You're a doer, someone who really enjoys getting things fixed, and thinks through how to improve processes. But you're also comfortable contacting and listening to internal stakeholders, to determine the potential value of new changes.

We hope you'll bring some relevant experience, and you'll need to be a quick learner to understand the existing product, and the industry context, which will help you really solve issues for your colleagues and customers based on different casuistic.

Product Specialists are often former engineers, engineering graduates, system engineers, or QA specialists, with good communication abilities and are keen to develop their careers into more product-centered roles by using their existing technical skills and growing their Product skills.

You won't be writing code, but an understanding of how software engineers work, and an understanding of technical tools and techniques would be massively beneficial.
