**Job Summary**

**We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual looking to support and empower people with a learning or physical disability, particularly those on the Autistic Spectrum who may express challenging behaviours.**

You will work in the community with young adults with learning / physical disabilites and will enable them to develop their skills, interests and community connections. The applicant must have positive values and ethics to work for GS Social Care Solutions and become part of an ever-expanding team. Some of your key responsibilities may include assisting/supporting with personal/practical care tasks according to individual needs, which may include assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, cooking, household tasks etc. Working as part of a team, you will be required to also meet the social and emotional needs of the individuals you support, using person-centred planning approaches to enable each person to enjoy a quality of life and develop skills and independence. **Responsibilities and Duties**

Some of your key responsibilities may include assisting/supporting with personal/practical care tasks according to individual needs, which may include assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, cooking, household tasks etc. Working as part of a team, you will be required to also meet the social and emotional needs of the individuals you support, using person-centred planning approaches to enable each person to enjoy a quality of life and develop skills and independence.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- NVQ L2 or above is an advantage
- Full clear driving licence is also an advantage
