Medical Receptionist

**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers and patients
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMIS)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanour and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
