We are currently seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to assist with the smooth and efficient administration of all public and internal examinations. The Exam Invigilators' role is important in ensuring the integrity and security of exam papers is maintained and all procedures are followed, within strict regulations governed by JCQ (Joint Council of Qualifications).

The invigilator role is on an ad hoc, casual basis and the hourly rate of pay will be £12.85. Hours of work will vary depending on the requirements of the exam sessions and will be agreed in advance of exams commencing.

You must be reliable, punctual and readily available for public and internal exams throughout the academic year and flexibility is paramount.

**Key responsibilities, as outlined in the job description, include;**
- Setting out examination desks with question papers and related stationery;
- Reporting any absentees to the Lead Invigilator/Exams Officer;
- To read/scribe for identified students needing extra support during exams;
- Reporting any irregularities or misbehaviour to the Lead Invigilator/Exams Officer;
- Collection of examination scripts and related stationery;
- Completing the attendance register and checking all scripts have been collected;
- To ensure that all school health and safety matters are adhered to;
- Any other duties as required by the Exams Manager.
