Gibside is one of a few surviving 18th-century designed landscapes. This 600 acres of Georgian landscape garden was fashioned with two things in mind: spectacular vista views and ‘wow’ moments. Highlights include valley views, woodland, Palladian chapel, stable block, grand ruin and the Column to Liberty towering above it all.

**Due to the requirement to lone operate kiosks, we require you to be 18 or above for this position.
**The Hours**: Flexible hours to be discussed at interview with a variety of shift patterns available. Weekend availability is required for this role, there will be a possibility to work extra shifts in the week during school holidays and busy periods.

Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, however it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible and discuss this with you.

**The Salary**: £10.50 per hour.

**Duration**: Fixed term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or being made permanent.

**Interview dates**:Interviews will take place between 28th-1st December (from 11:00am-3pm) and from the 6th to the 8th of December (from 11:00am-3pm).

What you'll be doing:With your love of working with people, positive attitude, and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet.

Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served, looks delicious. From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective.

You will receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role. Further professional training & development opportunities are available.
