London, United Kingdom United Learning Full time

Central Office staff work closely with schools, offering a wealth of expertise to underpin schools’ own knowledge. Our specialist departments, including HR, finance, technology, strategy and performance, estates, and marketing, work alongside dedicated school improvement teams. By joining us, you will provide ongoing support to schools, ultimately improving the outcomes of our pupils.

**Hours: Full-time (willing to consider part-time and flexible working arrangements)**

**Closing date: Tuesday 14th March**

**Interviews: w/c Monday 20th March**

**The Role**

As Project Lead for United Learning, a national group of 90+ primary and secondary schools (both academies and independent schools), you have the opportunity to make a difference on a large scale.

United Learning aims to building strong ‘clusters’ of schools to enable meaningful educational collaboration that will benefit staff and students and to provide for efficient shared services. This is a key element of our strategic aim of being a great group of schools to join. We expect to welcome a number of new schools into the Group over the next few years.

You will support the Head of Growth in making sure that the experience of joining United Learning is a positive one - for staff, students, parents and communities - from initial contact through to (and beyond) the point of transfer. You will project manage all aspects of the due diligence, approval and on-boarding process, working with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders - school-based staff, internal departments and external colleagues (e.g. communications and legal teams, Department for Education, Education and Skills Funding Agency, local authorities). You will also support the Head of Growth and senior colleagues in the development of cluster structures across our schools through monitoring of activity and identifying strengths in existing practice.

You will be based in our London office, with occasional travel to other office and school locations. United Learning is happy to consider requests for flexible working, including hybrid home/office working.

**About You**

You will combine a passion for improving outcomes for children, young people, their families and the communities they live in - particularly for the most disadvantaged - with a disciplined yet flexible approach to project management. You will be a skilled communicator and be able to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds, including members of the Executive Leadership Team and school staff. You will have the high-quality interpersonal skills required to engage and influence the wide range of stakeholders with whom you will be working.

You will need to be energetic and enthusiastic, focused, determined and willing to learn and work as part of a diverse team. We will make sure that you have the support you need to succeed working on growth projects, from the range of specialists working in the organisation and other members of the team.

For an informal conversation about this opportunity, please contact Euan Graham, Head of Growth, Strategy and Performance:
