Machine Operators

**Machine Production Operatives - Rawtenstall, Days or Nights Avail, Immediate Start. Temporary - Permanent. £12.38 - £14.94.**

Blue Arrow is recruiting for Machine Production Operatives in Rawtenstall, Rossendale for one of the leading manufactures of têxtiles.

We are looking for experienced production operatives who have worked in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, who understand manufacturing specification and can follow instructions. You must have basic IT skills, basic literacy, and numeracy skills & ideally some knowledge of Kaizen / 6-sigma.

We are looking for experience manufacturing production operatives to work on days or nights:
Days 06:00 to 18:00 - 36 hours per week

Pay Rate £12.36 for first 12 weeks then rising to £12.88

Nights: 18:00 - 06:00

Pay Rate £14.44 for first 12 weeks then rising to £14.94

The role.
To ensure that the equipment is set to the correct manufacturing specification and to check that the machines are operating correctly.
Reporting any faults to management / maintenance team.
All material is the correct material being used as on the job spec.
Manual handling of material onto the machines before and after processing.
Measure and record accurately the width, Length & weight of felt as required.
Record information accurately while completing all necessary paperwork.
Ensure all waste materials are kept to a minimum.
Replacing needlebooks as and when required.
- Previous experience of production work in a manufacturing environment.
- IT Literate
- Good communication skills - written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Rate of Pay & Benefits:

- Pay Rate Days - £12.38 rising to £12.88 after 12 weeks
- Pay Rate Nights - £14.44 rising to £14.94 after 12 weeks.
- Holiday pay up to 28 days accrual per year.
- Weekly Pay
