Senior Play Worker

Due to our continuing expansion, we are currently recruiting practitioners for the breakfast club in Rainham and Romford area.

Previous experience in either type of setting would be beneficial, but is by no means essential - a strong desire to work with children, an interest in their well-being and a sense of fun.

Hours:
Breakfast Club - 07.30 - 08.50am (7- 8 hours)

**Responsibilities and Duties**

You will be expected to assist in any of the following:

- lead role for the club/room
- To manage the day to day running of the club and staff
- Planning activites, games
- Promote communication with parents and carers
- Supporting other members of staff in planning activities to keep the children happy & stimulated
- Participate in and supervising the activities with the children complying with health and safety requirements
- Familiar with EYFS, Safeguarding, health and safety
- Willing to undertake appropriate training
- To implement the clubs policies and procedures
- To maintain records of attendants and general admin work with

**Salary**: Starting minimum wage, increase depending on experience

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

- Childcare: 2 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
