Maintenance Handyman/woman

Due to our rapidly increasing demand for new builds, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Handyman/Woman to join our team at our Hertford Depot

We are passionate and proud of the quality of work delivered from our workshop. We are looking for someone with an excellent work ethic and sense of pride for each and every job within a time critical 24/7 industry.

Initiative and maintenance skills are a prerequisite for this role and you should have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role.

You will carry out your role from our workshop site in Hertford, ensuring the site is well maintained in cleanliness (inclusive of offices and workshop workspace), general property maintenance and off loading deliveries when needed. We look for individuals with a can-do attitude and welcome work ethics of high value.
- A can do attitude. Aspire to contribute to the workflow of the working day and be inquisitive.
- Class 2 Driving Licence required - you shall be responsible for the delivery and collection of vehicles - only when necessary.
- Ability to work as a team, and independently.
- Valet new trucks which are going out to customers.
- General property Maintenance - Changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, outdoor maintenance (such as the cutting back of hedges/trees).
- Have an exceptional ability to use one's initiative and have a keen attention to detail, when checking in new vehicles and parts.
- Ability to drive a forklift (experience not essential, training can be provided)
- Make tea for staff at break times

Hours of work shall be Monday - Friday on a 9 hour Shift, to be negotiated with management.
