**About us**
The Creative Communities team has three main core areas of work; 1. Community Led Local Development 2. Managing External Funds 3. Managing Internal Funds We focus on supporting communities and organisations in their aspirations and encouraging them to be ambitious and empowered, whilst supporting the ambition of the Council. The team is one of the Regeneration teams within the Place Directorate, the Regeneration departments focus ranges from Economic Regeneration, building on assets, growth and employment, to Social and Cultural Regeneration, focussing on wellbeing, arts and culture and community life, to Environmental Regeneration including management of green spaces, habitats and land renewal.
**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 7 Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 Hours per week based on Flexible Working pattern Main Place of Work: Cowbridge/Barry/Home Working Permanent Contract To support the delivery of economic, environmental and social regeneration of the Vale of Glamorgan. With a focus on supporting communities.
**About you**
We are looking for a conscientious and effective communicator, with experience of working with communities or businesses. You will need to be methodical, self-motivated and have high standards of personal and public integrity. You must have the ability to organise personal workload effectively, to meet deadlines, and to work well under pressure, while maintaining high standards of quality. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and flexible approach to working arrangements.
