**Production Operative Reporting to Production Shift Manager**
To produce bouquets, plants, and otherfloral products in accordance with the customer specifications. Adhering toCompany requirements regarding efficiency, structure and the policies definedin the Colleague handbook.
**Primary functions**
- Counting, putting on and adding the required number of flowers, greenery and/or decorative products on the belt according to the required production speed
- Making of parallel bouquets
- Preparing for production of products of glass and/or pots
- Sleeving and/or wrapping of bouquets, boxing, strapping and bucket filling
- Packing of bouquets into buckets and or boxes without supervision and checking the specifications in a timely planner
- Noticing quality deviations and inform the Line Leader immediately
- Effective product handling to prevent damage during the production process.
- Label the packaging ensuring the correct specifications are adhered to
- Label plants, ensuring the correct specifications are adhered to
- Keeping the production floor clean and tidy work area

**Responsibilities**
- Preparing and completion of bouquets and plants within the production areas
- Working safely and efficiently, keeping the work area neat and tidy
- Comply with the Company rules and regulations as detailed within the Company Handbook
- The above accountabilities are not intended to be exhaustive and may alter without changing the overall character of the job and the levels of responsibility. Additional tasks of a generic or departmental nature may also be assigned

**Knowledge and skills**
**Essential skills**
- Product knowledge - Varieties of flowers, greenery and other floral products.
- Procedures and work methods
- English level: Basic/ Intermediate

**Desirable skills**
- Previous flower production experience

**Other considerations**:

- Wednesday 6am - 2pm & Thursday - Saturday 6am - 6pm
- Occasional additional shifts and night shifts are required in order to facilitate the needs of the business
- Salary scale: £10.42 per hour, overtime after 42.5 hours at 125%, unsociable hours 00:00-06:00 at 15%
- Contributory Pension Scheme.
- Annual leave: 23 Days including bank holidays
